We just returned from our trip to Guatemala. We saw nearly 600 people in our medical clinics. We were so happy to be able to give them the medicine they needed and to distribute needed vitamins to pregnant women and children. We had a medical clinic at the school where we have our vitamin program and were so happy to see the children thriving. The teachers tell us that attendance is up since we started the vitamin program and that they are doing better in school. We also met with two other school directors and have expanded the vitamin program to include these two new schools. We distributed hundreds of pounds of food and hundreds of school notebooks, hundreds of childrens books and hundreds of handknit childrens and infant hats and baby receiving blankets. We also delivered 4 large duffle bags of sports equipment for the schools. Thanks so much for helping us reach out to them; together we are really making a difference.
